Tara Now at Smoking Rachel
Smoking Rachel tells me that there is a new model on her site this month, actually three new smoking models, but I will only deal with one per blog post.
Her name is Tara and she is a college student with her heart set on med school who has been smoking since her teen years.
Some of her content is up in Rachel's VIP Room and she also has clips for indiviudal download in Rachel's clip store.
Its always neat when we get to welcome a promising new smoking model to the scene, hopefully lots of smoking fans out there will enjoy Tara's work.

Gilian Anderson Smokes...
The famed starlet of the X-Files is definitely an in real life smoker who does not have a problem with the sultry aspect of being a smoking celeb. I even remember a couple of scenes of her smoking in the X-files, nothing real long or outstanding but more than enough to convince me, anyway, that she is legit. There are also a ton of pics of her out there on the net and she has smoking scenes in several other movies.

Bobbi Billard Smoking
Bobbi Billard is a well known fitness model and webmistress who definitely has an appreciation of the allure of the smoking fetish, which I gather from the couple of clips I've seen on her site as well as some of the pics like these I have seen on the 'net. For me, gals like this who you wouldn't necessarily think of as smokers. That just adds to it for me, anyway.

Its funny how you sometimes can forget or not know everything that goes into running a smoking fetish site. Smoking Rachel tells me that she has an update that is being delayed because of a problem with her host. It will get fixed, but you sometimes forget that SF producers need to pay for hosting, storage space, deal with online credit cards processors-some of whom give them a hard time about the nature of their content, considering it "adult" just because its smoking related; recruiting models, etc., not to mention the rare fan who will go on any message board he can find and trash a site because he doesn't like a model or a certain model doesn't inhale enough or doesn't smoke all whites or some other heinous crime. I'm not saying its the toughest thing in th world-its not-but sometimes we fans might get a little spoiled. So, thanks to the likes of Random Snaps, Visual Smoke, Smoking-Models, and all of the rest. You guys may not be perfect...but neither are we and doggone good is just fine.

Thick Stogie versus Thin Stogie
Suprisingly, a high number of smoking fans who like to see the models smoking cigars really don't like seeing women smoke the type of cigars they are most likely to smoke in real life...Smoking Rachel tells me that the biggest request she gets for her cigar pics and videos is a model who will smoke the big, thick stogies as opposed to the smaller, "girlie" cigars that almost all cigar smoking models smoke. Oh well, just one of those things, I guess, we are more likely to want what we are less likely to see.

Jordan Ladd Smokes...
The word is that Jordan Ladd is a regular smoker who smokes American Spirits.One thing is for sure, its rare to get a real good candid pic that shows a celeb exhaling, so you have got to appreciate this pic, with the added bonus of being in sultry black & white. I don't know a whole lot about Jordan Ladd, but she definitely seems to be an in real life smoker, so she is more than welcome to be recognized here as a celeb smoker.

Smoking Misc.
I was thinking the other day about whatever happened to Lana Cox, the one on the right of this pic.
For those of you who don't know, Lana was a smokinig fetish pioneer on the web, with her own site that was pretty awesome.
Next to her is her bud Tess Scott, who still has a site on the 'net, but Lana disappeared suddenly.
She did other things, of course, but she was really true to being a smoking queen on her site. Russian by birth, she moved to Britain where she launched her career and a very good member's site that I was a part of for a while. She did custom videos, including one or two for yours truly, high quality stuff. Then, one day, she was not there and I have not seen her since.There are still plenty of her photos around the 'net, particularly at Angel's Smoking Archive, but they are all old stuff. I really don't know what happened to Lana, but I can tell you that she is missed.
Keenan from Colight
Keenan from Colight is one of the long standing models from that long running site.
I don't know for sure, but she has to have the most content up there, with the possible exception of Nadja.
Megan will always be my favorite from Colight but Keenan deserves a lot of props hereself for her smoking prowess. I know that the Colight models did custom vids at one point, I don't know if they still offer that but Keenan would be about as good as you could hope for in a custom smoking fetish video. She has the gift of thick, voluminous exhales and, of course, she "gets it" in the sense of what smoking fans want to see.

Bob's Videos
this pic from Bob's Videos shows what I think is a great talent of Bobs, finding sleek and fit looking models who are sultry smokers. Some have commented here that Bob may have loat his focus a little and does not concentrate enough on smoking. That may be true, although Bob has never claimed to be smoking fetish only. The site still looks like its producing quality content to me.

Beth from Colight
This is a cigar pic from an old video from Colight that was called, I think, "Cigars". It is an older video that featured three models, all of whom smoke cigars.
The video is about 45 minutes long and the models do inhale for those of you who need that element to fully enjoy your cigar smoking videos.
I have it on VHS, which dates the video a little, but I think Colight has put most of their old stuff on dvd, too. This model's name is Beth and, in my opinion, she was the third best of the three models, which is my way of telling you that I think this was a very good cigar smoking video. So, if this is what you are looking for, I would say that its the best cigar video I have ever seen.
Ashley Renee...
is mainly a bondage model, from what I understand and her website does not feature any smoking content, but this is definitely her in this set.
I also know she did some adult videos at some point, but would be interesting to know if this pic is from one of them.
Most times adult vids or videos with a different theme that might feaure smoking don't really do it justice, at least not to the extent that those of us in the "smoking fetish" community would like to see. So, when I see a pic of a model known for something other than smoking, it makes it even more likely that I have to post it on this blog.

Mamie Van Doren Smoking...
This pic is the classic "B" type movie poster of the 1950's, when posters like this were the main form of advertising for smaller budget movies. I think it is called High School Confidential, and apparently glam actress Van Doren smokes in it quite a bit, if you can get by the issue of her supposedly being in high school. Recently, she did a revealing scene in the comedy flick Slackers, and she looks wonderful for her age, which has to be 70+. I don't know much else about her smoking history, but maybe finding this old movie on dvd somewhere would answer some questions about whether she was an in real life smoker/

There is a new smoking fetish site out there called Smokinhot120, featuring smoking model Deannia. The home page says that its focus is smoking women from California, so I don't know if there are other models on tap, but for right now its the sultry and classy looking Deannia who, as you might guess, has a preference for 120s. Right now there are just dvds available on the site, I don't know if there will be a members area and/or downloadable clips. But this is one to keep an eye on.

Drew Barrymore: The Queen of Rings
Drew Barrymore has been called, by no less an authority than Smoking Rachel, the "Queen of Rings", in relation to her incredible ability to produce thick, creamy smoke rings. There is no doubt that Ms. Barrymore is a serious in real life smoker and has been for a long time, even as a younger star.
These two pics that decorate this blog post come from Rachel's Hall of Fame page and really show what a serious smoke ring(s) is all about. Its amazing that you get this from "Hollywood" movies that are not really trying to cater to the smoking fetish community when it is so hard to get high quality smoke ring material from those SF producers who are trying to give us what we want to see.
I'm not saying that as a put down of the SF producers on the web, but to show how hard it is to capture/produce really awesome smoke ring content and, most importantly, how wonderful Ms. Barrymore is when it comes to the smoking department. Don't you just wish there was some way a SF producer could convince Drew to do a smoking fetish video?

A handsfree dragging pic is always a good thing to see, we just don't get to see it much. I do know my buddy Smoking Rachel has some handsfree smoking clips of herself and one or two other models, but there are not many pics of this very neat "trick", not to mention video. If memory serves me right, Colight also had some very good handsfree material a while back.

Thick Exhale Pics, Continued...
You've got to love how Specialized Videos consistently comes through with thick, glowing exhale pics.
Again, its not as easy as it may seem, and the first thing you have to do is to credit the model for her efforts, but applause goes to the videographer for capturing this at the max volume point of the exhale.
To me, you can never get enough of pictures like this, itsa mostly about the exhale for me and many smoking fans, I would think. A pic set like this would be enough for me to join a site or buy a DVD if I were on the fence.

Two Women Smoking and Playing Cards...
seems to be a staple of SF producers that do things other than the solo model smoking against the dark backdrop.
There is something about the setting of two smoking women playing cards and filling up the room in the manner of the well known cliche "the smoke filled room".
I can say from personal experience that Random Snaps, Specialized Videos, Smoking Rachel, and Lady Madonna all have done more than one quality pic and/or video set with this theme. I think we will see this setting for as long as there are SF producers making smoking videos for us on the 'net and in DVD.

Asia Argento Smokes...
I can't say that I know a whole lot about Asia Argento or have seen any of her movies, but she does have some sultry smoking pics out there on the net that I wanted to recognize. She just might be an automatic entry into the "smoking queen" hall of fame.
Laura Antonelli: Smoking Queen
Laura Antonelli is a very sultry Italian actress who was at her height of popularity in the 70's appearing in a few of the very sensual Fellini films. She is also a very sultry smoker, like so many of the Italian screen queens.
I don't know if many of her movies are available to the U.S. market, but one that is and features a couple of wonderful smoking scenes is called The Divine Nymph.
She has a couple of scenes, including one unforgettable scene where she does a great combo nostril mouth exhale while she is nude. Its also a pretty good movie, if you don't mind dubbed foreign movies. Its the kind of scene that makes it worth it for a smoking fan to get the movie even if its just for the smoking scenes. If you can find it somewhere.

Sophia Loren: Smoking Queen
Found this pic of the timeless beauty Sophia Loren at the Italian Celeb Smoking Site.
Now, there are plenty of smoking pics of the timeless beauty out there on the 'net-she's looked great for, oh, 40 years now-but this is one of the few that I have seen where she actually has a lit cigarette in her mouth. I remember, a long time ago, seeing an old black and white movie on TV of Sophia Loren where she did not one, but two handsfree deep drags on her cigarette while looking out of a window. It was probably one of the things that contributed to me developing a smoking fetish.
I understand that she has now quit, which is good of course, but for all of you smoking fans out there, she left plenty of pictures and scenes from her old movies to appreciate her smoking prowess which makes her an definite smoking queen.
